This Halloween and Día de Muertos week bundle gives you 5 planned days of bilingual crafts and activities for PreK to 2nd grade. Kids learn both celebrations side by side, then compare them.
Halloween and Día de Muertos fall in the same week, and both began long ago with remembering people who died. Then they go different ways. Halloween faces fear with costumes and fun. Día de Muertos remembers loved ones with flowers, music, and a welcome-home celebration. This week takes kids from spooky, to friendly, to compare, to remember, to celebrate.
We are two teachers. Freddy is Mexican and grew up in the US. We built this week the way we would teach it in our own classrooms: with care, with real cultural meaning, and with simple supplies.

Why teachers like it
- Low prep: paper, scissors, glue, and colors. Cardstock works best for the crafts.
- Every day stands alone. Skip Halloween and teach Wednesday to Friday if you need to.
- Kids choose who to honor: a grandparent, a pet, or someone they admire. No child has to share.
- Every printable also works on its own, any time you need it.
