How the Scavenger Hunt Works
The routine is simple and repeatable: Hide the cards around the room. Students find a card, say the weather word aloud, then record their answer on the worksheet. Because the structure never changes, students learn it once and work independently from that point — which means you can pull a small group while the rest of the class hunts.
Three Card Versions Included
Color cards are ready to print and cut. Black & white cards give students a coloring step before the hunt begins. Template cards are blank frames — students read the word label and draw the weather image themselves, building vocabulary through illustration before cutting and playing. A challenge option is available in both the color and B&W sets: remove the word label and students write the word from memory when they find the card.
